Attitude of using pandemic for political gain is wrong, opposition including Rahul and Sonia should support Modi govt: V Muraleedharan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister V Muraleedharan said that Rahul Gandhi should follow the example of Opposition Leader VD Satheesan. "At a time when we need to fight together against Covid, the opposition should give positive support to the government and not political criticism. Satheesan's stance can serve as a model for his leader Rahul. Muraleedharan wrote on Facebook that Satheesan's leader had taken the position of criticizing Narendra Modi during the pandemic, like taking medicine three times a day.

"Satheesan should also convince Rahul Gandhi that the attitude of using the pandemic for purely political gain is wrong when the country as a whole is fighting against Covid. Just how the opposition led by Satheesan is supporting Pinarayi Vijayan, opposition including Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi should support the Narendra Modi government. Let us stand united in the fight against the pandemic", he said. In his Facebook post, Muraleedharan also demanded that the Congress should make it clear whether the mutual aid group is only there in Kerala.
