Tries to strip woman employee inside office, Karunagapally Municipal Corporation Superintendent suspended

KOLLAM: An officer who misbehaved with a woman employee in the Karunagappally municipality office has been suspended from service. Director of Urban Affairs suspended the municipality superintendent Manoj Kumar.

The woman in her complaint levelled serious allegations against him. She said that he misbehaved with her and tried to strip her. The complaint was lodged to the municipality secretary in February. She also pointed that he often uses lewd remarks. A special team was entrusted for an internal probe and following investigation, he was suspended. The high court had ordered a stay on his arrest till May 21. Following this, he tried to get anticipatory bail. The employee who faced the assault is firm in going ahead with the complaint.
