Aritha Babu starts her daily routine with cattle rearing. As soon as she gets up, she goes to the cattle shed. There are five cows. The dung should be washed, cleaned and milked. Arita delivers milk to the dairy society in Govindamuttam in the morning and evening. She collects 12 litres of milk over two times. The rest will be bottled and taken to nearby houses on a scooter. Sometimes she goes to cut down grass with her father.
Despite being one of the star candidates in the Congress in the last assembly elections, Aritha Babu lost to the LDF 's U Prathibha in the Kayamkulam constituency by 6298 votes. As per Aritha's assumption, she lost due to LDF wave, despite Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi campaigning for her.
