THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Some unruly scenes were witnessed in the assembly on the statement of the opposition connecting Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his son-in-law and Minister Mohammed Riyas. Congress MLA K Babu from the opposition spoke connecting between the two. Which father does not want their children to lead a good life, mocked Babu. The MLA from Thripunithura added that he will not blame the chief minister for giving a ministerial berth to Riyas.

Babu’s words irked the ruling members. He continued his speech without paying heed to it. When things went out of control, the speaker handed over the mike to the next person saying that his time was over.

Babu is in the forefront to criticise the government since the start of the assembly session. Babu had the other day ridiculed K Radhakrishnan mocking the portfolio he is handling. However, the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department is for the lower strata of the society. When Radhakrishnan replied saying that it is a big deal to raise them up, Babu had to withdraw his words.
