Serial shoot amidst lockdown: 20 including serial actors taken into custody from resort in Varkala

VARKALA: The Varkala Police took into custody twenty people including serial actors for violating the restrictions imposed during lockdown. They secretly shot the serial at a resort in Varkala. The police reached the spot on obtaining information that there was a violation of law at the resort. When the police reached the spot, there were about 20 people including serial actors and technicians. A case will be registered against them under the Infectious Diseases Prevention Ordinance.

A case has also been registered against the owner for violating law at the resort and for giving an opportunity to shoot. The resort has been sealed by police. The lockdown was imposed in the state on May 8. Film and serial shoots were banned during this period.
