Criticised for supporting homosexuality; Muneer withdraws post congratulating LGBT community

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Muslim League leader MK Muneer has withdrawn a post that he shared on Facebook congratulating the LGBT community. The post was deleted following criticism that homosexuality was anti-religious. However, he did not withdraw the post he shared on Instagram. Muneer's post was shared by many.

Several people took to social media to criticize Muneer for withdrawing the post. 'I saw a post yesterday in favor of the LGBT community. I also shared that. Why was that post deleted? Doesn't this show that anyone like you who tries to break the rules of your community will be suppressed immediately?' a person commented under Muneer's recent Facebook post. Meanwhile, some others took the opportunity to criticize the Muslim League leader for supporting homosexuality.
