DYFI leaders arrested while smuggling spurious liquor

ALAPPUZHA: Two DYFI leaders were arrested in Alappuzha for smuggling spurious liquor. Edathwa North regional secretary Shyamraj and block committee member MK Sreejith were arrested in connection with the incident. The fake liquor was seized during a police check near Kozhimukku junction. Two and a half liters of spurious liquor kept in the Activa scooter was found when they were stopped and examined for not wearing helmet.
