Critical Intervention of MA Yusuff Ali; Becks Krishnan to return home tomorrow

ABU DHABI: Becks Krishnan, a native of Thrissur, who was saved from death sentence in UAE due to the decisive intervention of businessman MA Yusuff Ali, will return home tomorrow. Becks will leave Abu Dhabi at 8.20 pm on Tuesday and return to Kochi on the Etihad flight at 1.45 am on Wednesday.

This marks the end of years of waiting for family members. Becks Krishnan was saved by Yusuff Ali who helped to pay his blood money amounting nearly Rs one crore.

Krishnan was sentenced to death by UAE Supreme Court after he was found guilty of killing the boy when he recklessly drove and rammed his car into a group of children in September 2012.
