Kerala records 14,424 COVID cases on Thursday, test positivity rate at 13.45; 194 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 14,424 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Among these, 13,535 persons developed the disease through contact, including 718 cases without an identified source of infection. 109 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 62 health workers contracted the disease on Thursday.

17,994 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,35,298 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 194 deaths due to the virus on Thursday with the toll rising to 10,631.
