THRISSUR: Tik Tok star has been arrested for sexual assault on a minor girl. Vadakancherry native Vignesh Krishna(19) has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault case. He has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting and impregnating a minor girl.
Vignesh Krishna who came across the girl through a phone call, sexually assaulted her on the false promise of marriage. Police launched a search operation to nab the ‘tik-tok star’ after the girl’s relatives filed a complaint. Later he was arrested from the premises of Thrissur medical college.
Vignesh was arrested by SI Udaykumar and CPOs Ajil & Sajeev on the directions of CI M K Murali. The accused was remanded later after presenting before the court. The accused who attained celebrity status through social media assaulted the girl after establishing a relationship with her.
