NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been elected world's number one leader. Modi topped the list and is ahead of US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. According to the international survey, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity increased due to his strong fight against the second wave of Covid-19.
According to the survey conducted by American data intelligence firm Morning Consult, Modi is ahead in popularity. The survey shows that leaders of countries like US, Russia, Australia and France are behind Modi in terms of popularity.
When 66 per cent expressed satisfaction on Modi’s performance, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi is in the second place with a rating of 65 per cent. Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has a rating of 63% and is in the third place, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has a rating of 54% and is in the fourth place, German Chancellor Angela Merkel comes fifth with 53% followed by US President Joe Biden (53%) and in the sixth place.
