KOCHI: The Lakshadweep administration has suffered a setback after the Kerala High Court issued a stay on two of its controversial orders. The high court stayed the order to close the diary farms and to avoid beef and chicken from the noon meal scheme.
The action was taken by the High Court Division Bench. The bench, headed by the Chief Justice, passed the interim order on a public interest petition filed by Ajmal Ahmed, a native of the island. The stay is until another order is issued.
