Woman found hanging in husband's house

AMBALAPUZHA: A 29-year-old woman was found hanging in her husband's house in Ambalapuzha. The deceased has been identified as Akhila James, daughter of Punnapra native James and Sherly. The incident took place around 7.30 pm on Tuesday.

Akhila's husband Godson is a welding worker. They recently built a shed and started living in the family share. Locals said that a family dispute with close relatives in the neighborhood led to Akhila's death. Godson was not home at the time of the incident. Akhila's family has lodged a complaint with the Punnapra police. The couple has two children.
