Dowry harassment: Woman ends life on video call with husband

KOLLAM: The family of a Keralite nurse, who committed suicide in Mecca, came to the fore against her husband. Muhaseena, a native of Anchal, ended her life. She was found dead at her accommodation in Saudi Arabia.

Her family alleged that she took the drastic step following dowry harassment. Her husband Sameer is in Riyadh. Her family said she ended her life while on a video call with her husband.

Her family has lodged a complaint to Punalur DySP. The couple has a three-year-old child.
