KOZHIKODE: There will be no more compromises with those who try to haunt and silence artists and cultural activists when they come forward to be a part of the congress, warned KPCC chief K Sudhakaran. Isolating and attacking artists who cooperate with the Congress is a style that the CPM has been following for years and every artist in Kerala has the freedom of expression and the freedom of organisation. Sudhakaran said that no one had given that freedom only to the fellow travellers of the CPM.

Noticed an interview of Dharmajan Bolgatty. In the interview, he spoke about the difficulties he faced during the election times. Called him directly to find out more about it. Enquired things. Came to know that many of the things he said were true. Had informed him that things will be clearly examined and appropriate action will be taken.

Activists hinted that many stars including Congress supporters Dharmajan were attacked personally. Isolating and attacking artists affiliated with the Congress has been the style of the CPM for years. National award winner Salim Kumar was insulted in connection with the IFFK and there was a cyberattack towards actor and director Ramesh Pisharody for campaigning for the Congress. Had called Salim and Ramesh on the phone and assured full support to them.
