Two arrested in case of attacking officials of AG’s office, held are natives of Vanchiyoor

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two persons have been arrested in the case of attacking two officials of the AG’s office. They have been identified as Rakesh and Praveen, natives of Vanchiyoor. The arrest was amidst protests for not nabbing the accused even after three days of the attack.

The officials (North Indians) were attacked when they went for a walk with their families and it has embarrassed the government. The incident happened at Ambalathu Mukku in Pettah.

A bike-borne duo purportedly made indecent remarks at the officials’ wives and attempted to molest them. They attacked the husbands when they tried to thwart their attempts. When the oofficials returned home with injuries on their hands and legs, the accused left after threatening them.
