Accused shared venue with minister; cannot escape for this reason, says Minister Saseendran

KOZHIKODE: N T Sajan, accused in the Muttil tree felling case, shared the venue attended by Forest Minister A K Saseendran. The incident happened during vanamahotsavam programme held in Kozhikode. Deputy conservator Sajan is an official found by the forest department to have intervened to sabotage the tree felling.

Thottathil Raveendran MLA was also present at the function. However, Saseendran said sharing the venue with the accused doesn’t mean that the accused will walk free. Sajan is still an official of the forest department. He cannot escape just for the reason he shared the venue with the minister. Departmental level action will be taken against the culprits, the minister said.
