Department of Health publishes names of those died of Covid, list available in website

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The health department has released the names of 135 people confirmed to have died of Covid in the state today. Health Minister Veena George has said that the list of Covid deaths will be published from today.

This was halted by the government in December 2020. The names of the deceased will be published at the district level from today.

Meanwhile, the government has directed action to find Covid deaths that was left out of the official list. Now the direction is to find out what is missing from the official death toll officially published by the government. Deaths not registered at the grassroots level even though they are on the government list will be found.
