THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC chief Mullappally Ramachandran Tuesday said the problems in connection with the UDF candidature in Kottayam Lok Sabha constituency can be solved amicably. Talks were held with Kerala Congress’ acting president Jose K Mani and P J Joseph. Congress leaders and other allied leaders are constantly in touch with them, he said while talking to the media in the capital city.

He said, “This is an internal issue of the Kerala Congress. It is not in the verge of a split. If we feel that intervention is needed from the Congress to resolve their problems, we will directly involve in it. We want a good relationship with them.”
