P S Sreedharan Pillai appointed Goa Governor, Union Minister Thawarchand Gehlot is Karnataka Governor

NEW DELHI: The President has issued an order appointing P S Sreedharan Pillai as Goa Governor. Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati will replace him in Mizoram.

Union Minister Thawarchand Gehlot has been appointed as the new governor of Karnataka. The change is amidst reports that a cabinet reshuffle is on the way. Outgoing Karnataka Governor Wajubhai Wala has no new appointment. Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel has been appointed as Governor of Madhya Pradesh. Mangubhai is a prominent BJP leader from Gujarat.

Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has been appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Satyendra Narayan Arya has been shifted to Tripura and Ramesh Bais to Jharkhand. Himachal Governor Bandaru Dattatraya has been transferred to Haryana.
