THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Industries Minister P Rajeev came to the fore responding to Kitex Group MD Sabu M Jacob's allegation that he was being driven out from the state and that he is not going on his own. The allegation of being driven out is unfortunate and he shouldn’t have said that, the minister said.
‘They have the freedom to express their opinion. Let the society examine the responses of Kitex. The government responded gently. The government still has an open mind. We try to have good discussions with all the entrepreneurs and move things forward. The government had asserted to look into the problems of Kitex, he said.
The atmosphere here is getting stronger for starting a good business. Investors are coming here. When such a situation exists, requested not to send a wrong message, clarified the minister.
Speaking to media persons at the Kochi airport before leaving for Telangana, Sabu Jacob said that he was driven out from Kerala. 'I never thought I would leave Kerala; I was kicked out from Kerala. Haunted like an animal. I tried my best to hold on. He said the trip was not to put pressure on the state government.’
