10-year-old girl abused: Accused aged 11 and 12 arrested

KOZHIKODE: Police arrested two persons in the incident where a 10-year-old girl was abused by her friends. The arrested accused are aged 11 and 12. They were produced in juvenile court.

The incident took place three months ago at Vella in Kozhikode. The girl was abused when parents were not there. The child informed the parents but they did not care. The incident came to light three days ago during a quarrel between the family members and the locals came to know about it. The locals informed the police. Subsequent investigations revealed that abuse had taken place and and the police took a written complaint from the family. Police are further investigating the incident.
