KOZHIKODE: BJP state president K Surendran said that the state government was embarrassed for moving the Supreme Court for permission to withdraw the assembly ruckus case. Surendran pointed out that the court's question as to what power the state government has to withdraw the case unilaterally is a setback to Pinarayi Vijayan's arrogance.

"The court had to advise the government that protest does not mean violence. Kerala was embarrassed when the court said that some of the present ministers would face prosecution. The then MLAs should be prepared to face prosecution in the criminal case," Surendran said.
