Ensure that all vacancies are reported to PSC: CM Vijayan directs ministers

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has directed the ministers to ensure that all the existing vacancies are reported to the PSC in the backdrop of the expiration of 500 rank lists on August 4. The Chief Minister also asked the ministers to give directions to the secretaries of departments in this regard.

There is an order to de-cadre the promotion posts to the posts which have to be reported to the PSC in cases where promotion is hampered due to seniority dispute and court cases. There are strict instructions to report to the PSC in case of vacancies. Strict action will be taken against the department heads and appointing authorities who fall short in this regard.
