Kerala receives 4.8 lakh doses of vaccine; 1.21 lakh people vaccinated on Friday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister Veena George said that the state received 4,80,500 doses of the Covishield vaccine on Friday. 1,96,500 doses of vaccine were delivered in Kochi and 134,000 doses in Kozhikode today. In addition, 1,50,000 doses of vaccine arrived in Kochi on Thursday.

1,21,130 people in the state were vaccinated on Friday. There were 1,078 vaccination centers. So far, 1,64,80,135 people across the state have been vaccinated. Of these, 1,19,14,025 were given the first dose and 45,66,110 were given the second dose.
