Action not only against Kunhammad Kutty Master in Kuttiyadi, action against two area committee members, local committee dissolved

KOZHIKODE: The CPM has taken strong action against the party for protesting against the denial of seat to K P Kunhammed Kutty Master during election time. The Kuttiyadi local committee has been completely dissolved. Disciplinary action has been taken against two area committee members. They have been demoted.

Following the Kuttiyadi protests, K P Kunhammad Kutty Master was demoted from Kozhikode district secretariat to the district committee. In addition, tight action was also taken. The party is planning to take action against more people.

The area committee meeting convened here today took strong action after considering the protest as anti-party activity. The Kuttiyadi local committee was dissolved in two local committees in Valayam and Kuttiyadi constituencies. There will be an ad hoc committee here.

The party protested for giving seat to Kerala Congress (M) when the elections were announced. It is clear from today's action that the party will not consider such protests even if it yields to the protests then.
