KOZHIKODE: The probe team has found that Ibrahim Pullatil, who was the main accused in the Bengaluru parallel telephone exchange case, was behind the parallel telephone exchanges in Kozhikode. He will also be the accused in the Kozhikode case. The crime branch team will soon reach Kozhikode to produce Ibrahim in court. Earlier, the probe team had found that the same group was behind the telephone exchanges in both places.
Ibrahim Pullattil, a native of Malappuram, is the main accused in the Bangalore Parallel Telephone Exchange case which was used by Pakistan-based intelligence operatives to route their calls to connect with Indian citizens and obtain information of military installations. The investigation revealed that Ibrahim was behind the parallel exchanges that operated in seven places in Kozhikode.
