THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition demanded the resignation of V Sivankutty in the wake of the Supreme Court verdict in the assembly ruckus case. Opposition leader V D Satheesan opined that the Supreme Court asked the same things raised by the UDF.
Minister V Sivankutty should resign his post as the Supreme Court ordered to face the trial in the case. The opposition leader said that it is not attractive for the assembly to have a minister who led the attack. It is not morally and legally correct. If the minister does not resign, the chief minister should demand it, the opposition leader said.
