Fake currency notes recovered from man who met with bike accident; three persons including  BJP worker arrested

THRISSUR: Fake currency notes worth several crores were seized from a youth who got injured after falling from a bike. The youth has been identified as Kodungallur native Jithu. He is a BJP worker. Jithu got arrested in the fake currency case while seeking treatment after the accident.

Apart from Jeethu, two others were also arrested. They have been identified as Rakesh and Rajeev, both from Kodungallur. Counterfeit currencies worth Rs 1.65 crore were seized from them. It is learnt that the notes were printed outside the state.
