THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The price of foreign made liquor has been increased in the state. Prices have risen as warehouse dividends have increased. With this, the price of liquor of leading brands will increase by around Rs 1000. The assessment is that this is part of the measures to offset the loss of income during the Covid period.
The warehouse margin was increased from 5 per cent to 14 per cent and the retail margin from 3 per cent to 20 per cent.
