Police throws Covid norms to the wind, footages from swimming pool out

police

PALAKKAD: It has been alleged that the police have violated Covid norms. Despite Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's warning not to open swimming pools, it has been reported that the trainees, who arrived in a police vehicle, trained for hours.

A private channel released the footages of their training. The explanation of the police is that they have the special permission of the disaster relief force. However, it is not clear what reason was cited for getting the permission.

The vehicle with the police from Kallekkad A R Camp reached Malampuzha. It has been alleged that the police, who are sincere enough to impose fines to the common man if found violating Covid norms, have taken a step back when it comes to their own business.
