Driver of car that caused accidental death of Rameez, friend of gold smuggling case accused, dies after vomiting blood

KANNUR: The driver of the car involved in the accidental death of Rameez, a friend of Arjun Ayanki, arrested in the gold smuggling case, died here Monday. Ashwin P P, a native of Thalappu, died Monday morning at 8 am while undergoing treatment after vomiting blood. He was admitted to the hospital yesterday and his relatives said there is nothing mysterious in the incident. The cause of death was internal bleeding.

Rameez, a friend of Arjun Ayanki, died in an accident on July 23 while he was to appear for questioning at the customs office in Kochi in a gold smuggling case. Rameez' bike collided with the Toyota car driven by Ashwin. Ashwin, working in Australia was on leave when the accident happened.
