Old answer was uploaded; Health Minister’s explanation on statement in assembly

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister Veena George has come forward with an explanation on the attacks against the doctors not being noticed. The minister said that there was a technical glitch in the answer and the old answer was uploaded.

The minister's office said have requested the speaker to provide a new answer. The minister replied in writing to a question raised by Mathew Kuzhalnadan on the issue.

Asked if there would be new legislation to prevent violence against health workers, Veena George had said the existing laws were adequate to prevent violence against doctors.
