Two women killed while trying to save child in Thiruvalla

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two women were killed when they came running to save a child who was electrocuted in Thiruvalla. The dead has been identified as Henna Mohan (60) and her daughter Neethu Mohan (27). Neethu, staying next to Henna’s house, came to visit her mother along with her children. Neethu’s two children were playing nearby. Meanwhile, the two-year-old youngest child caught the earth wire at home.

Henna and Neethu were electrocuted when they came running to save the child who was electrocuted. The neighbours who came running hearing their noise found them lying down after coming in touch with the wire. Although they were taken to the hospital, the two were confirmed dead on reaching there. The child is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The doctors said the health condition of the child is satisfactory.
