WAYANAD: Rahul Gandhi MP will arrive in Wayanad today for a three-day visit. Opposition leader V D Satheesan and KPCC president K Sudhakaran will receive him at the Karipur airport at 8.30 am.
Rahul reaching Wayanad in the afternoon will unveil a statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Mananthavady. He will then inaugurate two drinking water projects, one at Koovalathod Colony in Padinjarathara and another at Kattunaika Colony in Ponkuzhi. After inaugurating those, he will also inaugurate a Dental Unit at the Family Health Centre (FHC) in Noolpuzha.
He will hold talks with the district collector and people's representatives tomorrow and after that will return to Malappuram.
The leaders are likely to inform Rahul Gandhi their dissatisfaction in connection with the DCC reorganization. This is Rahul's first visit to Kerala after the defeat in the assembly elections.
