Thousands of devotees visit Sabarimala on auspicious day of Chingam 1

SABARIMALA: Nearly 2000 devotees had a glimpse of Lord Ayyappa at the Sabarimala temple on the auspicious day of Chingam 1. The temple was opened at 5 am for Nirmalya Darshan. Following this, various rituals were performed by Manu Namboothiri, the representative of the Tantri. Actor Jayaram was among the devotees who visited the temple yesterday. He left the temple after taking part in the 'Punyam Poonkavanam' project.

Those who came without undergoing the Covid test were allowed to visit the temple after subjecting them to the RT-PCR test.
