Women’s League not aware of complaint lodged to IUML

haritha

MALAPPURAM: Women’s League was not aware of the investigation conducted by the Muslim League in the Haritha controversy. Women’s League national general secretary Noorbina Rasheed said that she has not seen Haritha’s complaint to the League and do not know the basis of the decision.

Noorbina said she knew League’s decision through media. Should have complained immediately when sexually harassed. Shouldn’t have done after discussions. Why delayed in filing a complaint to League? Action should be taken whoever abuses sexually, she added.

She said party's decision is applicable to all and should not try to stamp when one falls down. She also criticized the Women's Commission. They are acting as CPM feeder organization, she said.
