58-year-old woman stabbed to death by husband in Varkala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman was stabbed to death following a family quarrel. Fifty-eight-year-old Shahida of Lebba Thekkathil (Suchi Garden) in Varkala Edava Sreeyettil has been identified as the deceased. Her husband Siddique is in police custody. Shahida was stabbed in the abdomen and neck. Police rushed her to Varkala Taluk Hospital but could not save her life. The body was shifted to Paripally Medical College.

According to locals, there was a constant quarrel between Shahida and Siddique. They had been arguing with each other the other day.
