Love failure: Woman who tried to commit suicide at youth's house dies

KUTTANAD: A woman, who tried to commit suicide at a young man's house due to love failure, died while undergoing treatment. The woman tried to kill herself by taking an overdose of sleeping pills. Though she was rushed to a hospital, she could not be rescued. She was a nurse in Bengal.

The woman was in love with a colleague and a native of Nedumudi. She had been separated from her husband for years. The woman, who went out shopping, later went to the youth's home in Nedumudi. After reaching the youth's home, she took sleeping pills. Though she was rushed to the Medical College Hospital, she was soon pronounced dead.
