Body found tied in a sack in Kannur

KANNUR: A body of a man tied and packed in a sack was found. The incident is at Pothuvachery in Kannur. The body was found in a canal near the road. The body has not yet been identified. A post mortem is being conducted.

The teakwood tree which was in the house of the man suspected to have been killed was found stolen on August 9. He had conveyed some information related to this to the police. He was reported missing for the past two days. The police are further investigating the case.
