Enemy of Sangh Parivar is history of this country, those who stood with British are trying to destroy proud history, says VD Satheesan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Reacting to the news that the names of 387 people who took part in the Malabar riots will be removed from the list of freedom fighters, Opposition leader VD Satheesan said that the biggest enemy of the Sangh Parivar is the history of this country. In a post on Facebook, he said that Variyam Kunnath Ahmed Haji was a brave freedom fighter who fought against the British Army without any resolve.

The Leader of the Opposition alleged that the national movement was a struggle waged by thousands of resistance activists like Kunhahammad Haji and other social reformers such as Sree Narayana Guru and Mahatma Ayyankali and that those who rejected it are trying to destroy the proud history.
