Man hacks wife to death in Aruvikkara

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man allegedly hacked his wife to death at Aruvikkara in the capital city. The murder was following a family dispute. The incident happened last night. The victim has been identified as Vimala (68) of Kalathara in Aruvikkara. The Aruvikkara police have taken her husband Janardhanan into custody.

Police said the couple used to fight frequently. A verbal dispute broke out between the two last night and in a fit of rage Janardhanan hacked her to death. She died on the spot itself. Police reached the spot and shifted her to the hospital.
