Nadirsha-Jayasurya film cannot be named 'Eesho'; Film Chamber denies permission citing technical reasons

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A controversy had erupted over the title of Jayasurya-starrer 'Eesho' directed by Nadirsha. Now, the Film Chamber has come up pointing out that the title 'Eesho' could not be allowed for the film. The Film Chamber ruled that the film could not be given the title 'Eesho' due to technical reasons. According to the Film Chamber, the makers of the film have violated the rule that the title of the film should be registered before the announcement of the film. It also pointed out that the producer of the film did not renew his membership

Although the producer's request for the title of the film has been rejected, there won't be an impediment in using the title 'Eesho' for OTT release.
