THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome in children (MIS-C) is spreading, raising concerns on the health of children affected with Covid. Authorities said so far four children have died of MIS-C. The only way to prevent the disease from getting worse is to seek treatment as soon as the symptoms appear. The chief minister had announced that special training would be given to doctors of the state for the treatment of MIS-C. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that hospitals have been directed to report any symptoms of MIS-C.

Multi-System Inflammatory Syndrome is a condition where different body parts can become inflamed. Symptoms include fever, abdominal pain, and redness of the skin.
