Kalari Gurukkal arrested for sexually abusing minor girl

KOZHIKODE: A Kalari Gurukkal has been arrested for sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl. He has been identified as Majeendran (45) of Perambra Puttampoyil Chamunditharammal. The girl sexually abused belonged to the Kalari team adjacent to the Kolathur Adwaitha Ashramam.

The POCSO court remanded the accused. The complaint said the accused sexually abused the girl several times in 2019. The abuse came to light after the parents of the girl subjected her to counselling after she was found behaving strangely.
