PATHANAPURAM: Pathanapuram MLA K B Ganesh Kumar, former transport minister, has given nod to transport minister's plan to set up BEVCO outlets in vacant rooms of KSRTC bus stands. He opined that the management should not be criticised as it is trying to find non-ticket revenue for KSRTC, which is not even running. There are bars in airports. There are liquor shops in airports and restaurants in the Gulf countries. No one drives under the influence of alcohol there.

The MLA had previously said that a reactionary approach that opposes new ideas is not good. Those who protested against the mobile phone tower earlier says now that his children are not getting net to study. Ganesh Kumar said that Bevco is functioning at the Kottarakkara private bus stand and nothing happened there. If got some money from anywhere, KSRTC will run through the villages. He opined that we need to see the changes in our hometown.
