KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Tuesday issued an order deferring the first semester examination of the three-year LLB course at the University of Calicut. Justice Amit Rawal passed the order on a petition filed by Sreekumar Verma, a student of Thrissur Govt, asking the court to defer the offline exams in the wake of the Covid spread. The offline exams were scheduled to begin on September 9. The single bench, which had earlier considered the petition, had ordered to consider whether the examination could be conducted online as well as offline. Following this, the Supreme Court stayed the Plus One examination in the state. The single bench stayed the examination on a review petition filed by the petitioners.
