THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As colleges are set to open for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students, Covid vaccination facilities will be provided to them, said Minister Veena George. All students should take at least one dose of the vaccine before entering college. Those who have reached the period to receive the second dose should also take it.

The minister said students should contact the nearest health workers or ASHA workers to get the vaccine.

The vaccine is available free of charge from government vaccination centres. The minister also said that the Covid vaccine will be available from selected private hospitals at the rates fixed by the government.
