KANNUR: Former minister K K Shailaja said that she is protesting BJP's attack at the CPM state committee office in Tripura. Shailaja said such acts, which are not in line with democracy and governance, should be widely protested by the ruling party.

She alleged that the attack was unleashed by a group who came calling Jai Shri Ram, at the state committee office. Shailaja expressed her displeasure through a Facebook post.

Her post says
Strong protests are being registered in connection with the widespread attacks staged by the BJP at various offices including the CPI (M) state committee office in Tripura. It is a matter of widespread protest that such acts, which are not an adornment of democracy and governance, come from the ruling party of the country.

The attacks were unleashed at many places including the state committee office by a team chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’.

The Sangh Parivar are continuously attacking former chief minister and CPM politburo member Manik Sarkar. Strong protests from democrats are needed against this.
