KOTTAYAM: Kerala Janapaksham leader PC George has come out in support of Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangatt of Pala diocese who said that Catholic girls and youth are being victimized by narcotic and love jihadists at an early age.

"He made a very honest comment and I support it. I had already pointed this out. Everybody criticized me then. Now, it has been proved right," PC George responded to a media.

"As an official spokesperson of Catholic Church, Bishop of Pala diocese Joseph Kallarangatt himself has now come out with an article. Truth has been spoken. A bishop never lies. Several families were destroyed by making youngsters addicted to drugs and alcohol. You read the newspaper, who brought this alcohol and drugs ... you will understand when you read that name," he added.

"Counterfeit currency is getting seized, gold is being smuggled through the airport. Who are the accused? This is all an organized move. Do not blame only one community without understanding this. Such atrocities are carried out by some extremists in the community. We must be prepared to boldly oppose and criticize such things," George said.
